Last night I sat out under the stars on my deck, lit a charcoal disc in one of new primitive Goddess wine goblets, and added some different incense mixes to set forth my intentions for this waxing season of transformation.
I started with a mixture for Purification with the intent of purifying my heart & spirit for more growth & learning. I then added Banishing incense to get rid of all those old mindsets & negative beliefs that I have about myself & others. Next came Empowerment so that I can have the power I need to work through this time of transformation. Then came Releasing & Renewing - releasing of my mental, emotional & spiritual obstacles, hindrances & sabotage so that I can then renew my mind, emotions & spirit with the love & work of my Goddess. Last I added one for Acquiring Love - not just physical love, but emotional & spiritual & intimate love from me for myself, me for others & others to me.
I let these different intentions burn in the heat & focused on the smoke coming forth. I let my mind, heart & spirit come together & concentrate on what I was sending to the Goddess as I asked her help on this transforming journey. I inhaled deeply the different aromas & watched the smoke ascend into the night sky. I felt the touch of a gentle breeze as it caressed my face. I heard the chimes let lose a soft giggle as the breeze passed by. I saw the wispy smile in the smoke as I watched drift away with the breeze. I felt comfort & love & laughter & peace.
